An emotional and deeply personal revelation. Beauty queen Imelda Schweighart has bared one of the most painful chapters of her life, sharing that she was pregnant during a recent pageant competition and that she has since lost her baby.

The Heartbreaking Revelation

In a post tagged with Rafael Thibault, Imelda wrote a touching message thanking her partner for his support "from start to finish." She recalled their journey "from simpler days of just riding in your borrowed motorcycle to building hostels with you," and praised him for always picking up Noah from school.

Then came the heartbreaking part. "Even though im recovering from something big right now, i know we'll get this through," she wrote. "Losing our baby would have been the worse out of joining this competition but in God's timing we will have one again."

Imelda Claps Back at the Malice

In a separate post, Imelda addressed those questioning her decision to compete while pregnant. "Wala po sa rules na bawal ang buntis," she clarified, stressing that nothing in the competition rules prohibited a pregnant contestant.

She also explained that she did not initially know. "I was obviously in my first trimester. Haven't you seen my abs? Kidding. My pregnancy test even came back negative, so I honestly thought my dizziness was just from the flights and my hectic schedule," she wrote.

Imelda made it clear she wanted to set the record straight. "I don't want to keep talking about this, but sometimes you have to put a hard stop to people's malice and ignorance," she said, before sharing a photo of the official rules.
