Is YUMI complete again?
Yes! According to GMA's official episode description, Hilaga Records bought the contract of Megan, played by Olive May, so the five members of YUMI are finally whole again. That is the payoff of everything Elvis, played by Nyoy Volante, set up after the reunion performance at Jeni's concert.
What is the problem with the YUMI name?
GMA's description teased that something still seemed off, and a GMA clip explains it. Astra M released Megan, but the label would not agree to let YUMI keep using the name, because Astra M says it was the one that formed the group. So the girls are together, pero baka wala silang pangalan. Ang sakit sa ulo!
What will Elvis do?
He is not backing down. GMA's clip says Sir Elvis will not let all his efforts to rebuild YUMI go to waste. After working this hard to bring the five back, a name fight is clearly not going to stop him easily.
What happened to Dara?
On the other side, Dara, played by Vina Morales, lost her very last hope of rescuing her career, according to GMA's clip. The clip frames it as a turning point and asks if she will finally change after sinking this low. Just yesterday she made peace with Megan and promised to support her, so it will be interesting to see where she goes from here.
Why does this episode matter?
