When asked if he has made any investments, Brent said:
Meron na. Nakabili na ako ng farm sa may Tarlac.
Tarlac is his hometown, and he said he really wants a rest house there. He also hinted at another property he is planning this year, but he does not want to jinx it, so no details yet.
Is he a farm person or a beach person?
Both, it turns out. The beach property is the next one he is saving up for. His reason is family. He said he prioritized properties where he can bring his loved ones, because he does not have a family of his own yet. The farm is for relaxing, and the beach is for family trips, which has been their yearly tradition growing up.
How did Brent get here?
Brent won Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab last year. Since then he has taken on acting projects, hosting, and endorsements. He had a supporting role in Vice Ganda's 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival entry Call Me Mother, and he co-hosts It's Showtime. He also starred in the GMA and ABS-CBN collab series Secrets of Hotel 88.
He joined Star Magic in 2018 and made his acting debut in 2022 in the iWant series Ampalaya Chronicles. At 28, he said he never expected to be able to buy his own properties: "Siyempre hindi. You'd hope for the best," and he thanked the Lord for the many jobs that came his way.
Does he splurge?
A little, and only on work-related things. Brent said he works in fashion, so he splurges from time to time, but he stays "sobrang controlled." He added that he rarely goes shopping. His first course at De La Salle University was Financial Management, and he finished cum laude in Advertising Management.
What we can all learn from this
You do not need a celebrity income to think like this. Start with one goal, like a small land, a savings fund, or a family trip. Then work toward it one paycheck at a time. Brent chose things that give both rest and family memories. That is an ipon mindset we can all copy.
