John Prats Burned Heart Evangelista's Scrapbook After Their Split, and Now Regrets It

What happened to the scrapbook?

According to PEP.ph, the exes talked to the press on Friday, September 18, 2026 at the Cornerstone Studios office in Quezon City about their upcoming reunion film. The press laughed when Heart called John "tatanga-tanga" for burning the things she gave him. One of them was a scrapbook she made. John described how she filled it every day:

Every day pinupuno niya yun, like, even the tissue na may tulo ng kape nung lumipad kami to Bacolod, nilalagay niya.

He said he burned it to feel lighter, hoping it would help him forget:

Akala ko kasi makakalimutan ko siya afterwards.

It worked for a few hours. John said he felt better at first, then realized it did not help after all.

Why does John regret it now?

When they began preparing for the movie, they dug up old souvenirs that could be used in the film. That is when it hit John:

Sayang sinunog natin, pwede nating gamitin sa pelikula.

Good news: Heart kept a few things, like a journal with drawings and torn pages. She said she treasures the people in her life, but admitted some of it was torn up too. Her comment about John was a good one-liner:

Siya nga sinunog, e.

What is the reunion movie about?

The film is set for release in February 2027. The script is ready, but there is no title yet. John will direct it, which would be his first film after years of directing concerts and TV shows, and he will also act in it. He said the story is personal, and that only the two of them can tell it. Heart and John said the movie became possible after John guested on Heart's talk show, Heart World, which aired on May 9, 2026. After that, they kept in touch and even starred in a TJ Monterde music video, and Cornerstone Studios founder Erickson Raymundo offered them a movie.

Heart said it feels like no time has passed. They also shared that they never got to say goodbye after their last project together, My First Romance.
