GMA's official episode description says that at age 14, Mabel, played by Kylie Padilla, went through sexual abuse that left her with painful memories. According to GMA's clip, when her mother found out, she did not get understanding. She was judged instead, then driven out of the house, and she was forced to earn a living the wrong way just to support herself.

After being forced to work in a bar, Mabel tried to start again. But GMA's clip says she could not escape the weight of her past and ended up falling deeper into illegal drugs. Another clip shows that her time in prison was far from easy.
