Dressed in a barong and traditional hat, he sang about high fuel prices and stagnant wages, and even took a jab at elected officials who end up facing illegal cases. Nobita reacted on Facebook, calling it an honor.

What is 'Eh Kulang' about?

The parody dropped on Bubble Gang and leans on the tune of "Ikaw Lang" to talk about a very unromantic topic: the cost of living. It came out the same week oil companies flagged an expected diesel price hike of around P11 per liter and gasoline going up by as much as P5. Michael V, styled as an ordinary Filipino in a courthouse setting, sang out the frustration a lot of households are feeling right now.

A little, in the way Bubble Gang always has. One line asks why the people who keep getting elected always seem to be the ones later linked to illegal acts. It is less about naming any one politician and more about the general frustration Filipinos feel watching prices go up while accountability seems to go missing.
