According to Sparkle, the signing was led by GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, Sparkle First Vice President Ms. Joy Marcelo, Assistant Vice President for Talent Management Mr. Vic del Rosario, Rayver's co-manager Albert Chua, and Officer-in-Charge for Entertainment Group and Vice President for Drama Ms. Cheryl Ching-Sy. Cheryl Ching-Sy told Rayver they are very happy he chose to continue his journey with them, and that she is excited about what is next. GMA also reported that Atty. Gozon-Valdes recalled first meeting Rayver during the pandemic in Siargao, before he joined the network.
Rayver, for his part, said:
Nakakagaan sa puso ko tuwing nagpe-perform ako sa stage na ito, and maraming maraming salamat
That means performing on the stage makes his heart light, and he thanked everyone.
