Sinon Loresca Gets Hair Transplant in Bangkok After Years of Bullying Over Hair Loss

Why did Sinon get a hair transplant?

He said he had thought about it for a long time. To hide his forehead and thinning hair, he was always wearing a bonnet or a hat. He also said he was bullied many times because of it. The comments hurt, even when people say they are joking:

Alam ko naman na pa-joke yung sinasabi nila sa akin, pero minsan yung joke ng mga tao, siyempre, naaapektuhan yung mental health natin.

He decided that this year, whenever he got the chance, he would get the transplant.

Why a transplant and not a wig?

Sinon said he tried a wig before, and since he sweats a lot, it was uncomfortable. Hair transplant was the best fit for him. In his words, "ang talagang the best sa akin ang hair transplant."

What was the procedure like?

It happened at BEQ Hair Clinic in Bangkok, and he thanked the doctors and staff for making his dream come true. He said they even played all the music he liked, and it felt like he was at home with friends. According to Sinon:

• The procedure took eight and a half hours, including photo shoots for his content.
• The only painful part was the anesthesia injection. After that he felt someone poking his head, but no pain.
• Four days in, he is healing. There is a little swelling, and no more medicine.
• No gym for one week, no jogging for two weeks, and no sun exposure for now.

He called it his "tiis-ganda" for a thicker head of hair and more confidence.

What is his message to everyone?
