Viva Films calls him a "Box-Office Director" and says the film joins the culture of horror films in the country. In case you missed it, "takot" is Filipino for fear, and "tao" means person. So the movie is saying the scariest thing in the room might be another human being, which matches the poster's "Human is horror" line. Pretty clever for a horror tagline.
